Formerly the lodgings of a circus showman in the 1950s, today Molly’s Wagon is happily nestled on the edge of the arboretum, down the drive from Treberfydd House, and the perfect rural retreat.
Inside, there’s a super-king-sized bed and a woodburning Salamander stove, with uninterrupted views across a hay meadow to the Black Mountains.Â
Outside, there’s a kitchen area under a canopy suspended from a circle of trees. Beyond that is a hut with a hot shower (with a view) and a compost loo (a posh one). Fluffy robes and towels and Welsh Lavender body wash are provided.
Sit in the morning sun with a coffee on the wagon steps, snooze in the hammock, or star-gaze by the fire pit (we’re in a dark sky reserve). We’re confident that you won’t want to leave!Â
